So, I’m going to do what I’ve wanted to do for a while. Because my mp3 page on my seldom-read blog is really way too much in your face. And reviewing music is very, very time consuming. People want now, now, now. I’m going to put together a best-of thing. Any song that has a good part will be reduced to only the good part. All “good” songs will be lined up.

So, you’ve never heard of me. You’ve never heard my music. Fine. Here are five tunes you should listen to. They represent my best ideas. This is the presentation I would give to a producer as fast as I could.

This came about very slowly. Took about a week to arrange, edit, clean up and record. I think this is the best soundscape I’ve done in a while. This finished up the 2007 set of tunes I call “Panda Smasher”.

A polished idea. Mastering would be fantastic. More variety in the first verse would be great too. Getting a singer to replace my vocals would be lovely, I just record the ideas, I’m not much of a singer.

Strong ideas, quiet and loud, rips the listener’s head off. Could definitely use more verse work. Could use a lot more production love.

This one came out really well, although it takes a while to get going. The piano and the drum loop in the beginning is super cheesy but it really develops into a sound that I’m going for. It has an appropriate intro
