Vintage computing articles

Vintage computing had a couple of posts that were very interesting. First, an interview with a very serious game collector.

Crazy. I won’t accept critique on my gaming habits anymore after seeing that.

Then … on another article, a link to someone’s emulator PC hooked up to their TV. It’s exactly what I envisioned. They went out and did it.

Excellent setup.

Actually the two are somewhat related. You could fit all of picture #1 into picture #2 with emulation. lol.

I think #1 is past the point of collecting for the sake of having every game available for him to play. That being said – even at under a MB per game for the older console games he’s still got to have a terabyte or more there – especially considering the PS2 and Xbox collections.

Sick.
