A walkthrough by Dark Vortex (Quan Jin) on gamefaqs.com for FFII. R U Tuff Enuff?!1
Ha. Dark Vortex did two guides on gamefaqs (at least) for FF1 and FF2, the GBA remakes. I’m playing through 2 in my attempt to fill in the gaps of the series. I beat FF1 on NES and after that it’s pretty spotty up to VII.
The GBA remake has some things that can’t possibly be faithful to the original. For example, you can hit L and R to cycle through character sheets after pressing START. The NES didn’t have L and R. In this way they didn’t make a faithful clone of the original but it’s nice using the extra GBA buttons and some new features. The pixel text is really great. Small and readable.
