According to Superman mythology, morons, Clark Kent’s glasses amplified one of his lesser-known powers; his hypnotic powers. When he wore glasses his telepathic influence was so great that people saw Clark as he wanted them to see him and nothing more. That is why next to Thundra, Ghostrider, and War Machine – Superman is the most powerful person alive.
