Since Linux on my workstation was using a crap load of memory when doing Java stuff … time to upgrade a bit.

1. 3x cat5e cables, 3′ 7′ 14′ (gigabit spec) — I only have cat5
2. dlink 8 port gig switch
3. dlink wireless router (for 54mbps wireless and because my linksys locks up)
4. 512mb memory (memory went bad)
5. dlink gigabit card (for workstation)

Comes to $245 from newegg. Server, laptop and desktop are all gigabit then. It’ll be noice!
